Program Offerings
PERFORMANCE I – GRADES: 6-12
Wheel Life Stories
Barton and Megan Cutter have been married for over six years, and their unique inter-ability relationship breaks through many barriers, both for people with and without disabilities. They bring their true to life experiences to their performance to educate the audience, inspire others and allow the audience to begin to break through their own barriers and perceived limitations. Specific stories will include how they met by training in martial arts, reaction from family and friends, why Barton walked Megan down the aisle at their wedding and many other experiences that include both successes and difficulties in their lives. Students will find understanding in the commonalities and differences in others, learn how to build meaningful friendships, learn how to be active community members, understanding individuality, and be challenged to move beyond their own perceived limitations.
WORKSHOP I – GRADES: 3-8
Write Friendships
Whether in the classroom or out in the community, building friendships is an essential aspect of childhood development. Write Friendships uses storytelling and creative writing to build and discuss the different dynamics involved with friendships. Students will learn: how storytelling can be used in creative problem solving, to connect to others around them, and to express themselves. Through developing and sharing simple stories, students will also learn to use metaphor and imagery to convey emotion and connect to their audience.
WORKSHOP II –GRADES 3 - 8
Hilarious Haiku

Off the tip of my nose.
Hilarious Haiku brings the lighter side of poetry to the classroom. Using the ancient form of haiku poetry, students will take objects from their environment and use them for the basis of their haiku and add a touch of the humorous by seeing their subjects in new and imaginative ways. The practice of haiku enables students to use concise language to express abstract ideas through concrete and tangible imagery.
