Do you ever ignore what’s on your mind or really in your heart and then regret the missed opportunity for genuine expression? Our society is consumed by external sensory overload, and it easy to get overwhelmed, letting our own voices get drowned out. Using creative journaling, writing and visual prompts and exercises, this course will help you learn to find and express your authentic voice. Writing haiku, a 17-syllable poem, can be used as practice for exploring the subtle simplicity in our lives. Haiku blends nature, balance and structure in an intricate weave that allows us to become aware of what is around us and provides freedom to play with language and images.
